Theodore O. Johnson received his B.A. from Wayne State University in 1964 and received his J.D. from the Detroit College of Law in 1973. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1974. His experience includes three years as a volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps, two years as an attorney/associate with Richard Collins, six years as an Alpena County prosecuting attorney, and 30+ years as a district court judge at the 88th District Court. Theodore currently serves as an attorney at IWP.
Real estate law
Theodore has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan for 40 years. He is also a member of the 26th Circuit Bar Association (Alpena County and Montmorency County) and the Alpena/Montmorency Drug Court Advisory Board. He is a former member of the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan and the Michigan District Judges Association. Outside of work, his community affiliations include being a member of the board of directors of the Alpena Boys & Girls Club and serving as the music director for Huron Shores Barbershop Chorus.
